Terms of service
Last updated: 24 August 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of www.mandalo.it, operated by Franco Ramonda, sole proprietor of FR Italy (Via Bruno Caccia 9, 12100 Cuneo, VAT 02976040044, tax code RMNFNC76T14D205F). By using the Service you accept these Terms and the Privacy policy.
1. Service provider
Provider: Franco Ramonda, sole proprietor of FR Italy, Via Bruno Caccia 9, 12100 Cuneo, VAT 02976040044, tax code RMNFNC76T14D205F. General contacts: info@mandalo.it · privacy@fr-italy.com. Point of contact for competent authorities and lawful orders: legal@mandalo.it (or info@mandalo.it).
2. Scope of the Service
mandalo.it lets you upload files and folders, generate temporary links, send link emails, protect with passwords, use online tools, and manage account/Pro subscription.
It is not permanent storage, professional backup, guaranteed antivirus, or editorial moderation of files.
3. Accounts, plans, and quotas
Guest, Free, and Pro limits are shown on Pricing and in-app. Pro allows unlimited transfers up to 100 GB each, subject to fair-use terms (not unlimited archival hosting). Limits may change for security or abuse. You are responsible for credentials and account activity.
4. User content
You alone are responsible for legality, rights to files, permission to contact recipients, and personal data in files. By uploading you declare you have rights and content does not violate law or these Terms.
5. Prohibited content
It is prohibited to upload, share, or facilitate: child sexual abuse material (CSAM); exploitation or grooming of minors; terrorist content; malware, phishing, or fraud; copyright or other third-party rights violations; personal data without a legal basis; any other unlawful material; or uses that harm the Service’s security or availability.
On violation the provider may immediately disable transfers and accounts, retain necessary metadata, and cooperate with competent authorities. For CSAM and similar serious offences we disable access without undue delay and, where required by law, report to the authorities.
6. Intermediary role (DSA)
We do not perform generalized prior content review (EU Reg. 2022/2065 — DSA — Art. 8). Arts. 6, 16, 17 and 18 DSA and, where relevant, Italian Legislative Decree 70/2003 apply. mandalo.it is not the publisher of user content: it provides temporary file hosting.
The intermediary liability shield ends if, after obtaining actual knowledge of illegal content, we fail to act without undue delay to remove it or disable access.
7. Reports (notice and action)
Report unlawful content via the form at www.mandalo.it/report-abuse.php (DSA Art. 16), providing the transfer URL or token, a reason, an explanation of why it is unlawful and, except for CSAM reports where email is optional, a contact address. A good-faith accuracy declaration is required.
We send an acknowledgement of receipt and, where possible, the outcome (removal or dismissal). When restricting content we notify the transfer sender if we have a contact (DSA Art. 17), unless confidentiality or investigations require otherwise.
If we become aware of a suspected offence involving a threat to life or safety of a person (including CSAM), we inform the competent authorities (DSA Art. 18), in particular the Italian Postal Police / CNCPO.
8. Indemnity and warranties
You indemnify the provider against claims from content, violations, or misuse. The Service is provided “as is”: no guarantee of absolute uptime, virus-free user uploads, or storage beyond expiry.
9. Subscriptions and payments
Pro is billed per Pricing at order time (PayPal/Pagami). Renewals and cancellation follow checkout terms and applicable law.
10. Governing law
Italian law and courts apply, except mandatory EU consumer rights. B2C disputes may use ADR/ODR where provided.
