How to send large files step by step

The flow is built to be immediate—even without an account.

    1. Open mandalo.it and drag files or folders into the transfer box (or use Add files / folders).
    2. Choose email notifications for recipients or generate a link-only transfer to share yourself.
    3. Set expiry (up to 7 days on guest/free) and an optional password.
    4. Start the transfer: when it finishes you get confirmation and recipients can download.

    Why email attachments have limits

Most mail providers cap attachments at a few megabytes (often 10–25 MB). Video, presentations, photo catalogs, and CAD projects easily exceed that: the message bounces or is rejected. Sending large files via link avoids mailbox limits, reduces spam-filter risk, and lets recipients choose when to download.

What file types you can transfer

Transfer virtually any file type: Office docs and PDFs, images and RAW, video and audio, ZIP/RAR archives, project folders, CAD exports, or client packs. You do not need to compress or split files just to get them through email.

    • Work documents and PDFs
    • Photos, video, and media assets
    • Archives and whole project folders

    Free plan and Pro limits

As a guest you get 1 transfer per day. With Free you get 3 GB and 10 transfers per month, up to 3 recipients, 7-day expiry, and password. Pro goes up to 100 GB per transfer, unlimited transfers, longer expiry (fair use), download-page branding, edit after send, contacts, and scheduling. See Pricing for details.

Send by email or link only

Enter recipient emails and they get a message with the download link—or generate a link only and share it on chat, tickets, or CRM. Useful when you do not want to expose the sender address or prefer another channel than email.

    Password protection and expiry

Every transfer has a unique token link and an expiry. Add a password and share it on a separate channel (phone or chat): even if someone intercepts the email, they cannot download without the key. HTTPS in transit and encryption at rest.

    European servers and privacy

mandalo.it is an Italian service (operator FR Italy, Cuneo) with GDPR focus and EU infrastructure—useful if you prefer not to hand client materials to opaque foreign platforms.
