The flow is built to be immediate—even without an account.
Most mail providers cap attachments at a few megabytes (often 10–25 MB). Video, presentations, photo catalogs, and CAD projects easily exceed that: the message bounces or is rejected. Sending large files via link avoids mailbox limits, reduces spam-filter risk, and lets recipients choose when to download.

As a guest you get 1 transfer per day. With Free you get 3 GB and 10 transfers per month, up to 3 recipients, 7-day expiry, and password.
