The problem we solve
Gmail rejects attachments over 25 MB. With mandalo.it you upload to the European service and insert (or copy) a download link: the recipient downloads when they want, without bounced mail.
Installation
The zip includes ISTRUZIONI.txt. Until the extension is on the Chrome Web Store, load it in Developer mode.
- Download the mandalo.it Chrome/Gmail zip from the button on this page (or from Integrations in your account).
- Unzip the archive into a folder on your computer.
- In Chrome open chrome://extensions and turn on “Developer mode”.
- Choose “Load unpacked” and select the unzipped folder.
- Click the mandalo.it icon → Mandalo email and password → Sign in. If you only use Google, set a Mandalo password in Account first.
- Open Gmail → Compose → use the mandalo.it button (or drag files over 25 MB).

Verify the zip against the SHA-256 below. There is no Chrome Web Store signature yet—this hash authenticates the file served by mandalo.it.

FAQ
Do I need a mandalo.it account?
Yes. You need a Mandalo password to create the API token. If you only use Google Login, set a password on the Account page first.
Does the extension stay installed after restart?
Yes. An unpacked extension in Developer mode stays until you remove it. The Chrome Web Store install will be even simpler.
Can I also use Thunderbird or Outlook?
Yes: there are dedicated Thunderbird (Filelink), Outlook and Firefox integrations. See those pages and Account → Integrations.
Where do the files go?
On mandalo.it servers (European operator, EU infrastructure), with expiry links like transfers from the website.
Is this a WeTransfer alternative for Gmail?
